BRS Realizes Second Distribution Through Recapitalization of BRS Outdoor Sports Holdings

New York, December 31, 2021 — BRS & Co. (“BRS”), a New York-based private equity firm, announced a distribution to its limited partners resulting from the recapitalization of its portfolio company, BRS Outdoor Sports Holdings, a platform company holding Gamo Outdoors S.L. (“Gamo”) and Daisy Manufacturing Co. (“Daisy”), (together “Gamo/Daisy” or the “Company”). Other shareholders in the company include Frist Capital, LLC, Bixby Bridge Capital, LLC, and SRI Hunting Products, LLC

Headquartered in Rogers, AK, Gamo/Daisy is a global platform that provides a full range of precision airguns for adults and youths as well as pellets, optical equipment, airsoft products, related consumables and outdoor accessories. The Company has an international distribution network and currently sells products in over 90 countries worldwide with 37,000+ licensed dealers. Gamo/Daisy is able to manufacture products to adhere to countries’ individual regulatory specifications from three strategically located facilities (Rogers, AK, Barcelona, Spain and Birmingham, UK).

J.P. Morgan led the new senior credit facility necessary to complete the recapitalization. Comerica, HanMi and First Horizon also participated in this transaction. Kirkland & Ellis acted as legal advisor to BRS.
